Walk Overview

A largely uninspiring and easy fell walk from Blindcrake. Once out of the wooded area
its just a case of walking across grass to the highest point of the grazing lande

The car park at the start of the walk

To the North West of Bassenthwaite Lake is a tiny Hamlet called Blindcrake
The walk starts from the single track road leading into the village where there
are a number of free parking places in the various laybys along the road

The Honesty Box

Follow the road towards the village and look out for a track appearing on the left

The track at the start of the walk

Just after a steel gate a track appears on the left which leads through a wooded area

Setting off though the woods

Go through the wooden gate

Go through the wooden gate and keep left on the tree lined path

The second hand gate

In no time at all you will reach a second hand gate which gives access to the open fellside

Looking at Clints Crags summit

The walk to the top is as straightforward as it looks. Pick your own path. We tended
to aim for the dip at the right hand side

Towards the wall swing left

As you approach the stone wall, swing left up the gentle slope to the summit
