Walk Overview

A very easy and pleasant walk from the Scout Scar car park just off
the Underbarrow Road. A popular route for dog walkers, good path throughout
and some great views from the fine cairn on the summit

The walk starts from the Scout Scar car park off the Underbarrow Road. Its free
and there is plenty of parking spaces available

Out of the car park turn left


Out of the car park turn left and a path emerges immediatel on the left that
cuts through a small wooded area

Through the handgate on to open pasture


Through the handgate on to open pasture and follow a well defined track

Take the right hand fork in the path


Through the gate and slightly further on take the right hand fork in the path

The summit cairm comes into view


Pretty soon the summit cairn (a large pile of stones) comes into view
